Pink Lotus Technologies’ CEO Maryann Kilgallon and her team will be traveling to Las Vegas to exhibit POMM® at the 2019 Consumer Electronics Show (CES), January 8th through the 11th.

As an acronym that stands for Peace Of Mind Monitor, POMM® provides a simple and effective solution to ensuring babies, toddlers and children can be “connected” to their parents by way of a wearable technology device tracked by an accompanying smartphone app.

POMM® was created by entrepreneur Maryann Kilgallon, who became upset one night after watching a news report about a child who died as a result of caregiver neglect—a parent’s worst nightmare.

However, the thought of child neglect wasn’t the trigger for Maryann’s product, but rather the idea that existing smartphone and wearable technology could have been used to prevent such accidental deaths.

Since then, Pink Lotus Technologies, Inc. has focused on analyzing and understanding a wide range of safety threats, which include child abuse, drownings and abductions—and how POMM® can significantly reduce or eliminate such threats with a wearable tech device.

POMM® is a wearable tech device that can be worn on the ankle of a toddler or on the wrist of a child up to age 8, providing a priceless solution to protect them while keeping them connected to parents via the smartphone app.

The device is programmed to track a child’s location using GPS, but it also uses biometrics to monitor the vital signs and the temperature of both the child and the environment—a virtual shield that can ensure their safety when parents are not around.

“People are already connected to their offices, homes and cars with mobile technology—so there’s no reason why they can’t be connected to their most precious possession in life,” said Maryann Kilgallon of Pink Lotus Tech, who believes that the opportunity POMM® presents is long overdue in today’s connected world.

At CES 2019, Maryann plans to present a working prototype of POMM® that can be evaluated by Venture Capitalists, technology investment groups and major brands that may be interested in capitalizing on the opportunity of this patent-pending wearable tech device.

“Without question, CES 2019 is a dream come true for us,” adds Maryann. “My product development, marketing and management teams will be ready to show the world that preventing accidents and saving lives is possible with a wearable tech device like POMM®.

Pink Lotus Technologies will be exhibiting the POMM® device and app in the startup-focused Eureka Park Marketplace at CES 2019, which will be located at the Sands Expo Hall G in booth number 52756.

Maryann Kilgallon and her POMM® team have already booked meetings with a select group of interested parties in attendance to CES 2019, all of whom pre-scheduled their strategic evaluations of the hottest products with the newest connected technologies.
